Psychosis and nervous breakdown, I needed to do something different.

Having suffered from a psychosis and nervous breakdown my body was completely stressed out and I had gained 2 stone in weight. My sleep was a disaster with sometimes only sleeping for 2 hours a night and no restorative rest. I was depressed, anxious, not socialising or leaving the house.
Claire offered me her services as a health coach in the belief that she could help me regain my health and put my life back on track. We started doing a food and mood diary which I found incredibly helpful to see where we were in the beginning. It was helpful to log my food intake along with how much exercise I was doing each day so we could reach my goals.
Claire gave me great motivation. I have gone from not leaving the house, to walking 2.5 miles a day, 5 days a week, along with daily yoga sessions. This was a massive achievement for me. My fitness levels are increasing and I eat 3 really healthy meals per day with no need for snacking. Claire also introduced me to some supplements which have helped calm my nervous system.
Self care has also been a big factor in my health journey. Finding time for the nice things in life like a weekly facial, face mask, and Epsom salts aromatherapy bath, have been therapeutic.
I have started to socialise and communicate with my friends and family and have enjoyed meals out with them along with a weekly walk with my best friend which has been lovely to do. I am feeling so much more confident.
I am continuing my journey with Claire for my next goal to focus on weight loss once my body is back in homeostasis. We have been working on my sleep which has improved. I am getting there.
I would highly recommend Claire as your coach. She is inspiring, motivating, kind and patient. You have nothing to lose, only health and fitness to gain
